We are on to the quarterfinals of the 2024 Euros on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
Germany and Switzerland were the first two countries to move on to the quarters, after defeating Denmark and Italy, respectively, in the Round of 16 on Saturday.
Then, in Sunday's first game of the day, Slovakia nearly pulled off a stunner, leading England 1-0 in the 95th minute before Jude Bellingham tied the game in that same minute. And, a little over three minutes later, Harry Kane scored the eventual game-winning goal.
Entering the match, England was the +350 favorite to win the tournament and at -550 to defeat Slovakia.
France punched its ticket to the next round by defeating Belgium 1-0 on Monday afternoon.
Lastly, on Tuesday, the Netherlands defeated Romania 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.
With Germany and Spain both advancing, they are set to face off in a heavyweight showdown on Friday. With young stars all over the pitch and both teams looking like the best two teams so far, many are calling this match the "game of the tournament."
Through its first four games, Germany has three wins and one draw. Spain has been even more dominant, as it has won each game it's played in, outscoring opponents 9-1 in that span.
The winner of this game will most likely be the favorite to win the Euros going forward.
